The girls have been riding their scooters around the house since they got them and occasionally, they knock into things.  DD2 has been having trouble with the dining room table especially (not sure why).  Anyhow, she complained that it knocked her in the shoulder.  After checking with her that the table was indeed leaping out at her, I said, "I'm a ( Read more... )

I sent the kids off bright and early this morning and they were completely happy and helpful and there was no whining and they even walked to school cheerfully despite a little drizzle.  Let's hope this presages a good trend for our mornings:D  It's so weird for me to be sending them off at the same time and have the whole day to myself knowing ( Read more... )

The girls got out of school last Tuesday and I've been in a fog for about a week (so, the day before they got out).  My period started today, so hopefully PMS is the answer.  The fog seems to have lifted to a great extent already.  I'm hoping the dizziness goes away completely now because that was just irritating.   Also, I don't like having no ( Read more... )

My leisurely weekend came to crashing halt when DD2 pulled the ancient heavy ice cream maker down on her head.  DH got to her first and I called 911.  Then we went for a ride in the ambulance and DD2 and I hung out in the ER for a couple hours until she got her stitches and we could go home.  It was much better than her trip in June, but still ( Read more... )

Hee hee.  We saw some birds on our walk and DD2 said "Raisins!".  LOL. 

We had two social engagements yesterday which basically ate up the whole day.  It was good fun, but didn't leave much time for stuff around the house.
